Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds

Lovely sized room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. Toiletries, a hairdryer, a minifridge and kettle in the room. All the staff were very nice. We ate in the Irish bar and the pizzas were delicious. I had a fabulous back and neck massage for only 45 euros

Really enjoyed my time in a very good hotel.

breakfast was excellent as was the room .

I had a problem contacting staff for the pool on both days of my stay and others seemed to be similarly troubled.

Wonderful

Daniel on the reception was extremely helpful on our arrival. Our room was very large, with a bath and a shower. There was also a minibar and a kettle. The view was over the swimming pool and golf course which was lovely. Just a fifteen minute walk through the complex, we arrived at a strip of bars and restaurants.

The food wasn't 5 star 4 at most breakfast lacked quality and choice even though we were half board had to pay extra for steak and salmon

Lovely surroundings, restaurants, and bars nearby. We had bed and breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast was very good. The indoor pool was nice and warm. Overall I think the 5* rating is not what it should be. I would say It was only a 4* in my opinion.

The outdoor pool wasn't heated and was too cold to take a swin. The room was OK, but it needs updating. The shower was not hot enough, and the spa bath needs replacing along with the tiles and shower in the bathroom.

Magnetic key card failing I wanted a earlier check in as i needed to rest extra charge requested 20 e for 2h which as i did not stay overnight and checked out at 9pm The corridor heat on third floor was very uncomfortable walking to room

Nice hotel that needs to address some issues

The hotel itself is well designed and well maintained. The pool area was very nice, but unfortunately it was too cold to take a dip. The breakfast service was good, as were the reception staff.

The restaurants available for evening meals were underwhelming. In particular the so-called Italian restaurant was totally lacking in authenticity. We found British golfers, especially after they had spent too long drinking; loud, obnoxious, and vulgar. We know it can be difficult, but the hotel management might like to insider ways of toning them down.

I only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use the facilities however I would definitely recommend as it’s a beautiful

It was in a beautiful location and the rooms were also beautiful, specially with the jacuzzi bath and power shower

Not much to say , the only downfall is knowing where to go for food , it was very clear so I didn’t end up eating

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and luxury facilities.

Beautiful resort hotel which was perfect for a one night stay on our road trip through Spain. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We enjoyed the indoor pool.

We hoped we would be able to play golf in the off-season without golf shoes as we were travelling light however we weren't allowed which was a shame. The golf course is run separately to the hotel so sharing this feedback so others don't make the same mistake as us silly Australians!

A great stay in a lovely hotel for a great price.

Had an excellent stay here with my mum. Room was fantastic. Lunch at the Club House was very good and the service too. We had a meal at the Italian restaurant which was also very good and the breakfast plenty of. All in all it was a very comfy stay. Reception staff were very helpful even finding a charger for my mums phone.

Was quite surprised with it being a 5 star hotel there was only one of everything in the bathroom when there was 2 of us. Expected a little more tea and coffee ect in the room too. The lights in the room were very wierd as well. You couldnt turn them off without them all going off or on. So we couldnt have the lamps on to read. Breakfast was great but they could do with supplying a better toaster.

Great stay! Great value for money. Good location

Had everything you needed, restaurants, spa, golf, supermarket pools. Large property, nicely laid out. It needs refurbished, it’s very clean and it has new owners so hopefully they will give it a refurb as it’s a lovely property.

Lack of investment but it’s been through a lot!

Great food in the restaurant, great location…maybe needs a bit of attention after the change of ownership

Lovely hotel with lovely views, exceptionally clean

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Reception staff friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely pool area and indoor pool.

Staff in the restaurant quite unfriendly. They also started setting up the tables for lunch while we were eating breakfast which was quite noisy. No water in the rooms due to a fault so unable to wash my face or have a shower before checkout and no apology or reimbursement offered. I know these things happen but it would have been nice to be informed.
